Does it Hurt?
A common question from many people is if the needles hurt. The acupuncture needles are not like your typical hypodermic needles, which are stiff and uncomfortable. Instead the acupuncture needles are fine, flexible, and about the width of a human hair, so pain is very uncommon. Some patients do experience a tingling sensation, but this is completely normal especially when we begin to move blood and energy.
